How The @HOME Transformational Journey Works

Welcome to @HOME, where we believe in the power of community and empowerment. We're thrilled to have you here as a part of our journey to make a difference in the lives of single parents.

At @HOME, we understand the unique challenges that single parents face, and we are committed to providing a helping hand, a supportive network, and a path to stability and self-sufficiency.

Whether you're a single parent seeking assistance, a dedicated volunteer looking to make an impact, or a generous supporter eager to contribute to our cause, you are an integral part of our @HOME family. Together, we can create a brighter future for single parents and their children.

The @HOME program is a carefully structured 3.5-year journey designed to uplift, empower, and reintegrate families into a prosperous life. Here's what you can expect:

Phase 1: Foundations (Year 1, months 6)

  • Initial Contact: Families seeking assistance begin by reaching out to our program.

  • Needs Assessment: Fill out an initial form to help us understand your current circumstances and aspirations.

  • Personalized Life Roadmap: Based on the assessment, a life advisor crafts a tailored strategy to achieve year 1 and 6-month milestones.

  • Housing & Nourishment: Depending on the family size, rooms are assigned, along with access to daily meals and an opportunity to pick essentials from our donation locker.

  • Community Building: Engage in community events, fostering bonds with fellow participants and celebrating collective achievements.

  • Skill Building & Education: Mandatory participation in workshops including financial literacy, resume writing, interview preparation, and more.

  • Weekly Check-ins: Life advisors ensure progress and maintain accountability with weekly evaluations.

Phase 2: Growth & Independence (Year 2)

  • Transition to Tiny Towne Homes: Families move to our Tiny Town community, symbolizing a step toward independence.

  • Advanced Life Skills: Deep-dive into wealth management to include savings, investments, budgeting, organization, time management, and more, aligned with second-year goals.

  • Community Building: Engage in community events, fostering bonds with fellow participants and celebrating collective achievements.

Phase 3: Integration & Accountability (Year 3)

  • Stepping Back into Society: Families transition to their own accommodations, either as first-time homeowners or renters, but continue within the program's framework.

  • Life Reinforcement: Emphasis on bill payments, budget adherence, and personal growth while working on third-year goals.

  • Bi-weekly Check-ins: Life advisors offer guidance, motivation, and accountability to ensure participants stay on track.

Completion & Graduation

  • Celebrating Transformation: Families complete their journey with a grand graduation, marking their achievement and new beginnings. This isn't just about completing a program; it's about the celebration of renewed hope, resilience, and the power of community.

Community Bonding throughout the journey while progressing through these phases, families will have opportunities to engage in community events. These interactions are key to building relationships, support systems, and a sense of belonging.

Join us @HOME, where every journey is met with love, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to turning life's challenges into success stories.
