Donation Drive-By: Fueling Transformation in Real Time

@HOME’s Donation Drive-By is a community giving experience designed to support single parents on their transformation journey. We gather essential items, build relationships with donors and businesses, and keep resources flowing to families who are rebuilding.

What is a Donation Drive-By?

A Donation Drive-By is an in-person drop-off event where supporters bring items from our needs list (and, when available, financial gifts) to help single parents in our program.

How It Works

1. We announce a theme + needs list (clothing, hygiene, food staples, kids items, work readiness supplies).

2. We host a public drop-off event at a designated location.

3. Items are sorted and recorded to support accountability and reporting.

4. Resources go directly to @HOME participant support (through our program distribution process and partnerships).

 

How Often Do We Do It?

• Monthly Drive-By 

• Quarterly Signature Drive-By (bigger, themed, sponsor-focused, dress code optional)

Community Partner Spotlight

A few times a year, @HOME may select a partner nonprofit to spotlight and support, because collaboration multiplies impact. (These will be clearly labeled so supporters know where donations are going.)

Want to Sponsor a Drive-By?

Businesses and community leaders can sponsor specific needs (ex: hygiene kits, diapers, work kits, meal support) or support the program financially.
